The Doppelgänger Dinner
It is my pleasure to invite you to The Doppelgänger Dinner, our next Studiofeast event on Sunday, July 17th at 7:00pm in Manhattan.
We will be serving a 6 course menu with wine to 40 available seats: 20 vegetarian and 20 omnivore. Each course's vegetarian and omnivore version will look completely identical without re-using any ingredients across the vegetarian/omnivore divide (save for basic staples: salt, oil, etc).
This is not bone marrow.
For example, one course's omnivore option may be roasted beef bone marrow, mustard greens, and duckfat toast. The vegetarian version of this would be yukon gold potato bone with onion marrow, kale salad, and miso butter toast. This is the pattern we will adhere to for the duration of the feast, and we will also be extending the Doppelgänger theme into the wine pairings, which are included with dinner. Wines will be selected by Brian Quinn and dessert will be by Micah Phillips, pastry chef at Compose.
This event is $110/pp donation.
This is a bit of a landmark for us because it's the first time in 4 years that we've had a vegetarian option. Please note that we cannot support any menu substitutions but let us know if there are food allergies that we should be aware of. We will do the best we can to accommodate you. The full menu will be revealed at the event, but we will be dealing with tomato, beef, marrow, scallop, tofu, duck, and watermelon. Vegetarian options are not vegan and may contain dairy. Participants will be emailed the dinner location 24 hours before the event.
Reservations are non-refundable and are first come, first serve. I do hope you'll join us, but if not, stay tuned for more Studiofeast events and collaborations.
